Authoritative, gentle,  free-range – if you’re a  parent, you’ve likely heard  these terms. While some parents closely identify with a specific parenting style, others find these labels confusing or unnecessary. While it can be useful to  understand the characteristics  of different styles, only you know the best way to raise your kids says Carly Dober, a Psychologist and Director of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).
