What’s in a frame?

After more than three months in lockdown, parents are now professionals in the ‘Jack of all trades’ department and full-time optometrists Paul and Taeyon are no exception.

The Eye Piece 2“We became teachers as well as full time entertainers. When it came to entertainment, we decided to delve into classics like Back to The Future and The Matrix.”

Whilst immersed in the alternate universe of movies, Paul and Taeyon’s children kept commenting on how cool the characters glasses were. From Morpheus’ nose sitting sunglasses to the futuristic sunglass visor that Doc wore in Back to The Future III.

Whether on the big screen or in real life, glasses and sunglasses are genuinely a character defining accessory. Paul says, “A person’s face is their main form of identity and when we add glasses, they too become part of who they are. At The Eye Piece, we believe choosing the right glasses is an art. They should reflect your personality, complement your style, and allow you to shine.”
